Captain Crazy, or Frederick Crowes, is a veteran of the United States military. He is currently unemployed, not looking for a job at the moment, just taking some time to live off of his savings. Maybe too much time.

He has agreed to train Kevin to become a formidable soldier, that Kevin may be able to not only defend himself, but become a little more well adjusted. Though, doubt creeps in on him from time to time, fearing that making Kevin a stronger person might make him more dangerous, instead of more stable.

He tends to shrug these concerns off with alcohol; in his eyes, it is any person's right to pursue self betterment, consequences be damned. He cares little for the rule of law, or even decency, if it seems overly restrictive to his immediate goals.

Frederick is not the most responsible person, living in a fairly reckless manner, such as supplying drinks to people under 21 and taking Kevin with him to a strip club. Whether he is a promoter of a relaxed and carefree lifestyle, or a force for corruption, has yet to be seen.
